15 Cheltonians serving with various regiments were killed in action or died of wounds on 9th May 1915

15 Cheltonians serving with 7th Bn Glos Regt were killed in action on 8th August 1915 in Gallipoli.

44 Cheltonians, mainly serving with 10th Bn Glos Regt, were killed in action on 25th September 1915, the first day of the Battle of Loos.

9 Cheltonians serving with 10th Bn Glos Regt were killed in action on 13th October 1915 at the Hohenzollern Redoubt in the Loos area.
